For The Love of Dogs is hosting the 1st annual event to benefit First State Greyhound Rescue, Inc.
On Saturday, Oct 13th 2007 the public is invited to meet and greet the Greyhounds.
In the US more than 7,000 Greyhounds lose their lives each year because they are no longer fast enough to compete in dog racing, while othere sustain serious racing-related injuries. Some of these dogs find homes through various adoption groups such as First State Greyhound Rescue, Inc.
Help us help them through the Greyhound Rescue by joining us for the following festivities:

K9 Caterer/gourmet doggie baked goods
Doggie Bubble Baths & Pedicures
Chinese Auction/lots of great prizes
The event will commence at 10am and end at 2pm at the For The Love of Dogs Day Care Facility at 285 N. Main Street in Phillipsburg.
All of our vendors are not only donating their time, but a portion of the proceeds will go to First State Greyhound Rescue.
